Do you want to be a much stronger seller?
Do you want equal professional posture in a selling situation?
Do you want to be assertive about what you charge and the value you bring to the table?
Do you want to make more profitable sales?
If you answered "yes" to one or all of the above here's the quick fix!
Stop seeing sales as a competition between you and your prospect. Stop trying to "win" the business. Stop hating "losing" business you never had.
It's all in your head. If you never had it, how can you lose it?
Do start to qualify your prospects well.
Do be clear about the characteristics of your ideal client.
Do ask insightful questions. Do listen well. Do be actively seeking to find the right fit rather than chasing the wrong fit and then feeling bad when you "lose" them.
